Now we will study Combined Vowels, which are formed by combinations of basic vowels.
Each vowel has its own sound value, but some are hard to differentiate in actual pronunciation.
For example, there is no practical difference in pronunciation between and and between  and.



These are aspirated sound. They are pronounced by emitting an audible rush of air from the lips.


Double consonants are formed by combinations of basic consonants. They are all 'tensed sounds' pronounced with tension in the tongue muscle.
